Job Description:

• • Procure technology products and services aligned with business and technical needs.
  • Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, compliance, and value.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts to ensure favourable terms and legal compliance.
  • Monitor procurement costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to MTN Group policies and Zambian procurement regulations.
  • Conduct technical evaluations to ensure compatibility and performance.
  • Align procurement activities with MTN Zambia’s technology strategy.
  • Research market trends and emerging technologies to guide decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand and support technology needs.

Qualification/Work Experience:

• • Grade 12 certificate with 5 credit or better of which English and Mathematics are a must
  • Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supply / bachelor’s degree in business administration
  • 5 years’ experience in procurement management, within a large organization
  • 3 years’ experience in clearing and logistics
  • Experience in a telecommunications environment is advantageous
  • Experienced driver with clean driving license
