Job Description:

  • Supports implementation of human resource policies, procedures, and Conditions of Service in order to ensure consistency and compliance.
    Facilitates recruitment, onboarding, and staff development programmes in order to enhance institutional performance.
    Undertakes in the preparation of payroll inputs and administration of staff welfare benefits in order to ensure timely payment and promote staff wellbeing.
    Coordinates administrative and logistical support services in order to facilitate efficient operations of the Authority.
    Supports the implementation of the Performance Management System and preparation of HR reports in order to monitor and enhance staff performance.
    Supports the preparation of the Unit’s annual budget and monitoring of expenditure in order to ensure effective utilization of resources.
    Maintain accurate employee records and files
    Assists in preparing reports, correspondence and HR Communications
    Handle employee queries and provide general Human Resource and Administration support

Qualification/Work Experience:

  • Full Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate with 5 ‘O’ levels with credit or better, including Mathematics and English Language.
    Diploma in Human Resource Management, Public Administration or equivalent.
    A Bachelor’s Degree will be an added advantage.
    Paid-up Member of ZIHRM
    Two 2 years’ practical experience in Human Resource and Administration functions.
    Experience in HR operations such as recruitment support, payroll input, and records management will be an added advantage.

    Good written and oral communication skills.
    Computer literacy, including MS Office applications
    Basic negotiation and conflict handling skills.
    Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team.
    Working knowledge of Zambian Labour Laws and employment regulations.
    Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
    Organisational and time management skills.
