Job Description:

• Inspect machines to diagnose malfunctions in order to determine the extent of repair required.
  Repair or replace defective parts, or systems using appropriate tools.
  Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that the work standard meets manufacturers specifications
  Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
  Maintaining records of equipment repaired, time taken, parts used on repairing such equipment and writing reports.
  Monitor compliance with the requirements of maintenance trends on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components.
  Maintain a schedule for planned maintenance on equipment with details of required tasks to be completed,
  Achievement of maintenance targets in the most cost-effective manner.

Qualification/Work Experience:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
  Craft Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair or equivalent.
  Minimum experience of 2 years
  Must have thorough knowledge and good working experience on Boomers, Auxiliary Equipment, Dump Trucks, Loaders and Engines
  Must have a valid Engineering Institute of Zambia Membership
