Job Description:

• Develop, Implement and monitor workplace health and safety policies and procedures
  Support the Health and Safety Manager in executing health, safety, hygiene, and environmental programs
  Conduct routine workplace inspections covering safety, hygiene, and environmental conditions
  Monitor compliance with hygiene practices, sanitation procedures, and housekeeping standards
  Support environmental sustainability initiatives including waste management and proper disposal practices
  Identify unsafe, unhygienic, or environmentally non-compliant conditions and recommend corrective actions
  Monitor employee compliance with PPE, hygiene rules, and safe work practices
  Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, near misses, and hygiene related issues
  Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions
  Participate in safety, hygiene, and environmental audits and inspections
  Assist with inductions, training, and toolbox talks on health, safety, hygiene, and environmental awareness
  Maintain accurate health, safety, hygiene, and environmental records and reports
  Support emergency preparedness activities and drills
  Report health, safety, hygiene, and environmental issues and trends to management
  Promote a positive culture of safety, cleanliness, and environmental responsibility
  Skills & Competencies
  Knowledge of occupational health and safety, hygiene, and environmental requirements
  Good observation, reporting, and organizational skills
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualification/Work Experience:

• Minimum of Diploma in Environmental Health, Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
  Minimum of Four (4) years experience in a meat processing, food manufacturing, or similar Industrial environment
