Job Description:

• He/she will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements such as procedures and legal regulations regarding safety, health and quality of work as required by the company.
  Key Responsibilities
  Carrying out underground surveys as required /requested according to the design using the Total stations, Levels, inclinometers etc.
  Data collection of 3D profiles, cross sections and all survey related Underground data as well as surface data.
  Maintaining and establishing primary & secondary control points both underground and surface.
  Carry out all surface surveys such as shaft monitoring, mapping and all survey related tasks.
  Providing necessary training and development of subordinates as required & requested by the company.
  Maintenance of surveying equipment to required standards.
  Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  

Qualification/Work Experience:

• A Degree or Diploma in Geomatics/Surveying qualification from a recognized institution.
  Minimum of 2 years work experience in the mining sector
  A holder of a practicing license from a Professional Body.
